Who we are
One Worship Scotland is a non-denominational Christian worship movement holding gatherings across Scotland. For the purposes of UK data protection law we are the data controller for the information described here. You can reach us at info@oneworshipscotland.com.
What we collect
We only hold information you choose to give us:
- Volunteer and worship team applications — your name, email, phone, city, church or community, the area you would like to serve in, your relevant experience, availability and anything you write about why you want to serve.
- Partnership enquiries — your name, organisation, email, phone, city, the kind of partnership you have in mind and your message.
- Contact messages — your name, email, the reason for getting in touch and your message.
We do not collect special category data, and we do not ask for it. If you include health, religious or other sensitive details in a free text box, please only share what you are comfortable for us to read.
Why we use it, and our lawful basis
Form submissions are used to reply to you and to coordinate the thing you contacted us about — placing you on a team, arranging a partnership, or answering your question. Our lawful basis is your consent, given by ticking the box on the form.
You can withdraw consent at any time by emailing us. Withdrawing does not affect anything we did before you asked.
Where it goes
This website does not store your submission in a database. When you send a form, its contents are emailed to the relevant One Worship Scotland mailbox, and it lives in that mailbox. Practically, that means our email provider processes it on our behalf.
Payments
Giving is handled entirely by Stripe on Stripe's own pages. We never see or hold your card details. Stripe acts as a separate controller for the payment data it collects — see the Stripe Privacy Policy. Ticketing is handled by Eventbrite under its own privacy policy.
Who else sees it
We do not sell your information or share it for marketing. It is seen by the One Worship Scotland team members who need it, and by the service providers who make the site work — currently our email provider, Stripe for giving, and Eventbrite for tickets.
How long we keep it
Not long. Your submission sits in the mailbox it was sent to while we reply to you and coordinate the gathering it relates to, and we delete it within one month of that event at the latest. We do not keep applications on file for future events.
We do not run a mailing list, so nothing is kept for marketing. Ask us to delete anything sooner and we will.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you can ask us to give you a copy of your information, correct it, delete it, restrict how we use it, or object to our using it. You can also ask for it in a portable format. Email info@oneworshipscotland.com and we will respond within one month.
If you are not happy with how we have handled your information you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk, or by calling 0303 123 1113.
Cookies
This site does not set cookies or use analytics. There is more detail in our Cookie Policy.
Changes
If we change how we handle your information we will update this page and change the date at the top.
